Morgan Cunning is an artist living in New York City. She is traditionally a writer with an adoration for tiny, delicate objects. She studied screenwriting at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, and it was there that she discovered her love for creating with her hands. She took great interest in special effects makeup as a physical manifestation of confronting the macabre. She eventually took her first lost wax carving and casting course in 2023 which sparked a desire to continue creating, this time with whimsy in mind. In 2025 she taught herself to make sculptural jewelry using precious metal clay in her apartment. By the end of summer she created the Original Collection. Inspired by the illuminating force of the moon, the glowing rise of the sun, the wish for protection and luck of shooting stars, the immersive gift of story through theater and film, and the power of choice we have as humans to be one way or another. She hopes to grow a delicate world of jewelry that expands on these images, and invites you to choose your story and wear your jewelry with intention.
